Day 1:
Drive via Okahandja, Otjiwarongo to Outjo for lunch at the Namatubis Guest Farm. Proceed to the famous Etosha National Park. Game
drive in the late afternoon.
OKAUKUEJO RESTCAMP (dinner/overnight/breakfast).
Day 2:
Full day of game viewing in the Etosha National Park, which is one of the major sanctuaries of wildlife in Africa. The area was
proclaimed a game reserve as far back as 1907. The size of the park is 22 270 km and it consists mainly of grass and bush savanna.
This type of landscape provides excellent opportunities for game viewing at the numerous waterholes or in the open countryside.
HALALI RESTCAMP (lunch/dinner/overnight/breakfast).
Day 3:
The Etosha Pan which the park is named after, is approximately 6000 km in size. In the language of
the Ovambo people, Etosha means “place of dry water” or “large white place”. Game viewing drive after breakfast until late
afternoon, with a break for lunch.
MOKUTI LODGE (lunch, dinner/overnight/breakfast).
Day 4:
After breakfast drive to Tsumeb, visit Lake Otjikoto and the Mine
Museum. Proceed via Otjiwarongo to Mount Etjo..Lunch en route. Gamedrive in the afternoon.
MOUNT ETJO SAFARI LODGE (dinner/overnight/breakfast).
Day 5:
Return to Windhoek via Okahandja, the former tribal centre of Herero people. Visit the graves of the great Herero chiefs and the old
cemetery with graves of members of the German Schutztruppe. Lunch en route..
End of Journey.
